This policy explains how TuneTrader (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TuneTrader platform, website, and reports (together, the “Services”). It should be read with our Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Services and, in sections 4 and 5, the content you upload and the aggregated data we may derive from it.
Account information. Name, email address, password, and your organization, collected when an account is created.
Customer content. The royalty statements, spreadsheets, archives, and related documents you upload for analysis, and the notes, corrections, and settings you record against them. Statements can themselves contain personal information about third parties — artist and songwriter names, payee details, earnings — which we process on your behalf so the Services can do their job.
Usage and log data. Standard technical records — pages visited, actions taken, IP address, browser and device details, and server logs — used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
Waitlist and correspondence. An email address you give us to request access, and the contents of messages you send us.
We do not collect payment card details today; if paid features launch, billing will be handled by a payment provider and this policy will be updated to name it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content to advertise to anyone.
At your direction. Reports and files you share reach the recipients you share them with, through the links you issue.
Service providers. We run on infrastructure providers who process data for us under their own contractual obligations — currently Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email delivery). They process data to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TuneTrader, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If TuneTrader is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer with the business, under this policy’s protections.
What we do not do: publish or provide your identifiable statements, deal terms, or catalog figures to anyone you have not shared them with.
The Services use cookies for one job: keeping you signed in and the platform working — session and authentication state, and a small number of preferences such as theme. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Customer content is stored in access-controlled storage with row-level security enforced in the database, transferred over encrypted connections, and reachable only through authenticated accounts and the share links their owners issue. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. On written request following account closure we will delete customer content from active systems within a commercially reasonable period, subject to legal retention obligations and routine backups, as described in Terms §14.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may close your account, by writing to support@tunetrader.app. Depending on where you live, local law (such as the CCPA or GDPR) may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority; we honor the rights that apply to you.
Where statements you uploaded contain personal information about third parties, requests from those individuals are handled with you, since we process that content on your behalf.
The Services are for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or a prominent notice on the platform. Questions: support@tunetrader.app.
